Practical Experience
A Dome-Tech engineer is a unique combination of field experience and practical knowledge.  In addition to college degrees, design experience and P.E.’s, our engineers take pride in their practical experience.  Many of our engineers hold operational licenses and certifications.  Many have past experience in maintenance organizations and operational positions.  We utilize this experience and knowledge in all of our work.  Our engineers are as comfortable working with design engineers as they are with TAB technicians, steam fitters or operating personnel.  And our engineers have the testing equipment and support they need to get the job done right.

Field Testing Approach
Our engineers pride themselves on being "hands-on."  We aren’t content to simply review documents or designs, but want to get into the field to walk down the systems with our own eyes.

We perform actual field testing wherever possible to diagnose conditions.  We don’t solely rely on available logs, equipment ratings, etc. Incorrect data and information means incorrect solutions.

Full Equipment Inventory
Unlike the majority of engineering firms, Dome-Tech owns a full inventory of NIST traceable equipment.  Our equipment allows us to take full responsibility for verification, testing and balancing of utility and HVAC systems.  We don’t have to rely on subcontractors or technicians to complete these tasks, so we know we get the right information the first time around. With the right information, the right decision is easier to make.
