Press Release: Dome-Tech Offers Commissioning Services to Philadelphia Area Businesses, Quality Assurance for New Building Construction Sweeps Into Eastern PA/ South Jersey Market
Edison, New Jersey (June 26, 2006) - Dome-Tech Commissioning Services announces plans to open a Philadelphia area office to better serve the building commissioning needs to the greater Delaware Valley market. Ted Salkin, PE, a Senior Project Manager, will lead the efforts.
Ted specializes in the engineering and commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC systems, central plants and plumbing for commercial, educational, pharmaceutical and laboratory facilities. His project experience includes commissioning, mechanical design, building automation systems and construction management. As a NEBB Qualified Air Balancing Supervisor, Ted has managed testing and balancing services to improve the IAQ, comfort and efficiency of buildings. Also a NEBB Qualified Systems Commissioning Administrator, he developed and performed the commissioning of a 12,000 ton chiller plant and several manufacturing facilities for major pharmaceutical companies. He is presently commissioning several schools and other facilities in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area. Ted has many years of experience as Engineering Manager of a large Philadelphia area mechanical/ HVAC service contractor where he specialized in design/ build projects, energy retrofits, indoor air quality studies, retro-commissioning, system troubleshooting and construction project management.

Ted has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of New Jersey, New York and Michigan.
